WELLBEING
FRIENDSHIPS help boost our wellbeing and promote our school values.
We have been doing some fun Socialising and Communicating with others activities from the STAR and LINKS program and learning about what it is to be a good friend at school by working together, being kind to each other and having fun while learning.
Having FRIENDS make us feel CONNECTED.
We have focussed on FRIENDSHIPS and how they make us feel
Staff set up learning through play situations from STAR and Communicating with Others from LINKS and during the day which identified what it is to:
- Be a good friend
- Be a sharing champion
- Be a good listener
- Be a playground helper
Many School Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) tickets were distributed to students for ‘helping others succeed’
This fortnight we have enjoyed our new friendships, practiced taking turns, sharing with each other, and listening to our teacher and friends
Having strong bonds with others and building friendships help to boost our self-esteem and by helping each other we feel great about ourselves.
