Highlights of the Week 

St Patrick's Day Mass

On Thursday March 17th, Mr Evans, Mrs Taylor and ourselves attended St Patrick's Cathedral for the Mass of St Patrick for Schools. There were students, teachers and Principals from many different Catholic primary and secondary schools throughout Melbourne who had come together to celebrate this special occasion.

Melbourne’s Archbishop, Peter Comensoli, led the Mass. St Patrick’s Cathedral is spectacular and when we arrived were surprised at its enormous size. Inside the cathedral we admired beautiful stained glass windows and religious images.

We sang hymns including, Christ be our Light and Table of Plenty, received the Eucharist and enjoyed the homily presented by Archbishop Comensoli. We are very grateful that we had the opportunity to participate in this special Catholic tradition and represent Holy Saviour Primary School.
