Inquiry 

It was wonderful to have Holly from ‘Holly’s Backyard Bees’ present a learning session to our Year 1, 2 and 3s as part of their Inquiry learning ‘Farm to Plate’ and their Kitchen Garden learning on our key ingredient ‘honey’.

Students were highly engaged with Holly’s interactive session and asked some intersecting questions about bees and bee pollination. Did you know a third of our food sold in the fruit and vegetable section of our supermarket would be gone if we didn’t have bees? 

Students wrote letters to Holly sharing their learning and thanking her. Here’s one from Archer....
