ROUND FOUR:

Under 11's

Last Saturday Ava, Emma, Noah, Lexi, Holly, Thomas, Eva Outram, Pippa and I all played Under 11s school netball at HILAC against Gray Street. We had a tie. It was 2 to 2. I shot the very end goal before the game ended. I really enjoyed the game and Gray Street was really hard to play against because they were really tall compared to us but I think we all did a really good job and it was an amazing game. I was in GS, WD but I can’t really remember. I think that I’ve gotten much better at shooting and knocking the ball out of the court when a person from the other team throws it. I’ve been getting a lot more side line throw-ins. I think Ava has started off really well and now she has improved on her netball skills. At training everyone has been doing a much better job. I’m so sad that the school netball is ending soon and Trish did a really good job at coaching all of us and was really good at telling us what we needed to work on and practice. By Mietta Price.

Last Under 11's it was a tie against Gray Street and Cavendish. It was a challenging game because it was very hard. I saw how good all of the players were - they were amazing! They tried so hard to get the 2 goals. Gray Street also had a lot more taller kids than Cavendish. It was very hard to throw the ball over the tall kids when they were in front of us especially the tallest one! Emma, Thomas, Holly and Lexi were really high throwers and they got the ball over the tall kids from Gray Street. I really enjoyed the game and sometimes I did really good passes to my team mates. Under 13's

On Saturday the Under 13's played netball against North Hamilton and we won 16 to 2. It was a bit tough. We stopped lots of goals and we shot lots of goals too. The defence team was driving in front of their players and taking the ball off them. By Talia Price.
