NAPLAN 2022

On Wednesday the 23rd of March, students in Years 3 & 5 participated in the Coordinated Practice Test.  The Coordinated Practise Test is where all participating students across the country complete a practise test online allowing NAPLAN to check if their system will handle all of the users. The technology worked really well for us which was exciting. 

All students participated in a 45 minute Omnibus test. The Omnibus test included elements of Numeracy, Reading and Conventions of Language. Year 5 students participated in a 42 minute online Writing test. Year 3's participated in a Writing test also, however this was done on paper, just as it will be when NAPLAN testing commences. 

The Coordinated Practise Test was a great opportunity for all Year 3 and 5 students to get a feel for what NAPLAN is. Year 5 students, who normally would have sat NAPLAN tests in Year 3, have never participated before as NAPLAN testing was cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic.

Tuesday 10th of May – NAPLAN Online testing commences
