Stage 6

Amgen Biotech Experience.

Year 12 Biology students participated in the Amgen Biotech Experience, a program run through the University of Sydney. Students performed a number of real-world genetic engineering laboratory exercises. This included verifying recombinant plasmids and transforming them into bacteria. This is part of a three week program where students learn about both the theory of and practical techniques involved in producing artificial insulin.


Year 12 Hospitality Practical Assessment

Year 12 Hospitality assessment was to prepare and present Thai Noodle Salad and Caesar Salad.


Year 11 Hospitality class cooking up the most awesome smelling schnitzels at lunch. Passerbys were ever so jealous and wished they could enjoy the scrumptious feed.
