Harlequins Hockey Club

Harlequins Hockey Club are seeking expressions of interest from players interested in playing junior hockey this year. We will be fielding teams in Under 8s, 11s, 13s and 15s girls and boys/mixed comp. 

 

The boys/mixed comp (11s, 13s and 15s) will be played on Monday evenings and the girls comp Saturday mornings.

 

Please send an email nominating your child's intention to play, which age division(s) they want to play in, date of birth, address and parental email and phone contact.

Guyra Psychology Clinic is hosting a Mental Skills and HSC Preparation day for senior students (year 11 & 12) who would like to learn mental skills to help them manage their mental health and perform at their best for their exams. 

This course is being held in Armidale, and being run by two experienced psychologists, Penny Kempton and Marni Hietbrink.

 Penny has a diverse background in children and adolescent mental health, and has worked in schools for many years.

Marni is a performance psychologist and helps people reach their potential and perform at their best under pressure.

The Big Chill Festival (Armidale).

We are currently looking for Casual Event Staff who share our enthusiasm and passion for excellence to take

on the following roles:

Ice Skate Marshal

- Must own their own skates

- Be an experienced skater

- Have the ability to help skaters on and off the ice rink

- Assist fallen skates

- Provide tips and pointers to first time skater

- Have great communication skills

- Be able to multitask

- Implement all Terms and Conditions and conditions of entry

- Attend the mandatory induction date

Skate Hire Attendant

- Impeccable customer service

- Have great communication skills

- Be able to multitask

- Work in a fast-paced environment

- Implement all Terms and Conditions and conditions of entry

- Attend the mandatory induction date

Please note both roles are physically demanding.

This event runs daily from Friday May 6th – Sunday May 22nd

Operation times are:

Induction day will be on May 5th, 2022. It will be paid and is mandatory.

Monday – Sunday: 10am – 9pm

Applicants MUST be dependable with regular and flexible availability.

Outstanding personal presentation, exceptional customer service and a positive attitude are essential if you

are to be considered for these positions.

To be successful in this role it is imperative that you have:
