From the Dorms

Junior and Senior Girls
The beginning of Term 3 has been:
- Wonderful to see everyone return ready for the second half of the year.
- Scary to realise this is the last term for the Year 12 students.
- Lovely to meet our new Year 7 boarder, Abigael Petrie from West Wyalong.
- Tough as staff shortages mean Junior Girls are yet to have a permanent supervisor.
- Thankfully Rosalie Wicks has been able to extend her time working with the girls to be available for the afternoon/evening shift.
The Junior girls are to be congratulated for being cooperative and understanding of the situation. The senior girls are also fantastic to have been patient in having to share and at times search for the senior girl's supervisor
The Year 8 cohort has had room changes so that there is fairness to the use of window rooms etc. Some girls did the move with precision while others had chaos before order.
The Year 11’s have enjoyed using the upstairs common room as a group study space.
Several years ago when Annabelle Cassidy was in year 10 she painted this beautiful mural in the Nano dorm. This year we have had Laura Porter add her artistic skills to the wall and Syn is in the process of creating a mural in her room.
The puzzle began in term 2 and has been completed although there was one piece missing and many stories and suppositions as to who was responsible for its disappearance.
Finally - ‘Good Luck’ to Year 12 as they entered their Trial exam period!!

Senior Boys
Welcome back to Term 3. The cold weather is with us and the students have a busy term ahead, both academically and sporting. Year 12 students have started their HSC trials and we wish them all the best for these stressful weeks. Year 11 students start their exams later in the term. Good luck to all involved.
