Rugby – Home game against St Stanislaus' College
This weekend we host 'Stannies' for our annual local derby fixture. Whilst the weather forecast is not great, we look forward to a tough and enjoyable round of competition in all age groups.
Students are reminded that they must be in correct uniform during the day when on school grounds.
The stands on the western side of the main oval are reserved for KWS supporters. Signs will be posted on the stands showing areas reserved for KWS students only, and other areas for KWS families, ex-students, and supporters. So that the day runs as smoothly as possible, please ensure that you observe these seating requirements.
Winter Sport Photos - Friday 12 August (Week 4)
All Winter Sports teams will have photos taken during the school day next Friday 12 August. Photos will be taken in the DPA. A schedule will be posted for students closer to the date along with uniform requirements for each sport.
HSC French
Best wishes to our HSC French students for their upcoming HSC speaking exams this weekend.
COVID-19 monitoring – Reminders for staff and families
A reminder that staff and students cannot attend school if they are showing any symptoms of COVID-19. If symptoms occur at any time, students should not attend school and should undertake a rapid antigen test (RAT).
If there is a positive case in your child’s class, year or other grouping, your child can continue to attend school in line with NSW Health advice.
If a student or staff member receives a positive RAT test, they need to:
Registering your child’s positive RAT with Service NSW is a requirement of the Public Health Order and helps NSW Health track COVID-19 in schools and address any public health issues early on if required.
Negative results do not need to be reported to Service NSW or to the school.
For more information, including COVID-19 guidelines and fact sheets, refer to People who tested positive or were exposed to COVID-19 (External link).
Students who become close household contacts must have details registered with the school. These students will need to wear a mask at school and conduct a RAT each morning before school for five days. Families can access the online form below to register close contact information.
