Billy Blood Drop School Challenge Update

A huge thank you to Kinross Wolaroi team members for making 13 donations so far during the challenge. That puts the school in fourth place in the Billy Blood Drop School Challenge. OPS (last year’s winner) is crushing it with 35 donations!

GREAT NEWS for those who lived in the UK from 1980 till 1996 - you are now eligible to donate blood!

ALSO - The Orange Donor Centre on Kite St will be open on Saturday 20 August for a school community day.

BECOME A PART OF THE KWS TEAM FOR THIS YEAR'S BILLY DROP SCHOOL'S CHALLENGE ...

1 June marked the start of the Orange Billy Drop School's challenge, which runs until 31 October this year. The challenge is a well-established annual blood challenge in the Orange community (this is its 9th year) where local schools come together to help save lives via blood donation. This year LifeBlood is aiming to help save 1,500 lives, with 500 donations with this Challenge. How do I join the team?

All you need to do to join the team is to let the LifeBlood staff know when you go in to donate that you wish to be a part of the Kinross Wolaroi team.

OR alternatively you can log into your account and join the team there, under the "My Teams" link and search "Kinross Wolaroi School": https://my.donateblood.com.au/app/myteams_home

Who can join the team?

Any adult (18+) who is connected to your family - parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents. ALSO - if you have a family friend who regularly donates, you can ask them to join the KWS team too  (they don't need to live in Orange!)
