Thursday 4th August 2022 @ Bruce Comben Reserve, Altona Meadows (TBC)
Staughton College for the first time ever will be fielding two (2) representative Rugby League teams to participate in the Cameron Smith Rugby League Gala Day, Under 14 competitions. This competition is named in honour of Cameron Smith who is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who played his entire career with the Melbourne Storm in the National Rugby League. An Australian international and Queensland State of Origin representative, Smith is regarded by many as one of the greatest players of all time. The Under 14 girl’s and boys’ team will be our very first junior squads and we look forward to them being successful.
Staughton College this year, has presented teams in the Under 18 Boys and Under 16 Boys. This was in the 9 a side competition. The Under 16 team went on to play in the State Championships.
