Year 7 Science

This term for Science, the year 7 cohort have begun studying Chemistry. The students have explored the properties of states of matter, and how matter changes state from solid to liquid to gas. For their practical class, the students made Oobleck (a type of slime made of cornflour and water) that has properties of both a solid and a liquid, depending on the pressure applied. 

Fun fact; The word Oobleck comes from a Dr Seuss book called ‘Bartholomew and the Oobleck’.
