Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Project, November 2019.

The P&F Committee held  its final meeting of the year on Wednesday 20 November. We have commenced planning events for 2020 with the first of these being the annual Welcome Back Barbecue hosted by the P&F and held in the first few weeks of the new school year.  This is a chance for all families to come along catch up with others after the long summer break, enjoying a relaxing evening with a free barbecue dinner.  We are hoping to have John Wollaston music students perform for us on the night also.

The P&F AGM will be held in March 2020.  I encourage you to come along and have a chat to see if being on the Committee is a good fit for you. Some of our current Committee members have children who are coming to the end of their John Wollaston journey and they will no longer be able to serve on the Committee, so we need new members who are willing to learn the ropes. There are two meetings each term, in addition to various other events throughout the year, and as we know 'many hands make light work'.

Next Friday 29 November the P&F are hosting a Volunteers' Breakfast for the many volunteers who help out at the School and enrich the lives of everyone involved.  It takes a village to raise a child, and I am thrilled to be able to thank some of our amazing 'villagers' for all that they do, at this event.

Thank you and best wishes to all the families whose journey at the School has come to an end.  Before we know it the last of us will be driving out after the final Praise and Thanksgiving Ceremony on Tuesday 10 December and wondering where the year went!
