Term 1 Week 8 Report

Our Blitz for the last week has been “Playing safe on the oval”.  It is wonderful to see students playing organised games on the oval.  If you are having trouble picking teams, maybe you could ask a teacher to choose them for you.  Playing games also means that when you go “out” in a game or the umpire pulls you up for something, just listen and do what they have asked.  It also means that when a person on the opposite team kicks a goal or hits an awesome six, being able to pat them on the back and say ‘good job’ are signs of being a good sport.

PBIS tickets for Week 7 - It’s been a few weeks since we have shared the tally so there will be big changes.

Term 1 Week 9 Report

Our Blitz for the last week has been “Playing safe on the oval”.  You would have all seen Episode 3 of the PBIS news. Thankyou to all those students who were in the show.  It has been awesome to see students asking for help when choosing teams and also asking for advice on ideas on what to play at break times.  Remember to be respectful when playing games and ‘play by the rules’

Our Blitz for Week 10 :”Respect the Library”.   We are VERY lucky to have an awesome space to go and relax and read fantastic books.  It seems as though some students are using the library during lunch to play loud games.  Please remember if you are going to the library at lunch, it is for reading and relaxing.  Nerissa would also like to outline a few rules

*SHHHHHHHHHH quiet please

*Walking only

*No bouncing balls

*Please look after and return all books.

Nerissa and the teachers will be giving out lots of PBIS tickets this week.

Congratulations to the Grade 2’s, you are the winning grade level for this Term!!!!  You should all be so proud of yourselves, keep up the great work.
