Winter Warmer Lunch

Thank you to all those students who supported our recent Winter Warmer Lunch. We received such an overwhelming response with over 180 pizzas ordered and delivered by the wonderful team at Domino’s Knox City. 

We also have to thank Costco Ringwood for their very generous donation which helped us purchase the drinks and snacks for the day.

The PFA hope to hold another Pizza Lunch in Term 4, so please stay tuned for more details!

Hot Chocolate Fridays

The PFA are very excited to announce that our first Hot Chocolate Friday will be held this Friday 16th July and will run fortnightly for the months of July and August.

Hot chocolates will be available at the canteen at the beginning of lunch for $1 each. They will be made by our amazing PFA members and helpers and will be preservative and additive free.

Biscuits will also be available to purchase for 50 cents for 2 biscuits.

Small Reusable Cups

In an effort to be more sustainable, the PFA would like to encourage students to bring along a small reusable takeaway cup for their hot chocolate.  Each student who brings one will receive 2 free biscuits.

For those who don’t have a small reusable takeaway cup, hot chocolates will be served in a disposable cup.

Thank you to everyone who has volunteered their time and below is a copy of the roster. 

Scoresby Primary Cookbook

At the end of last year, our wonderful families and friends of Scoresby Primary School submitted their favourite recipes which were later collated and printed in a bound, hard copy book titled ‘Family Favourites Cookbook’. The recipes included meals for Breakfast, Light Meals, Snacks, Main Meals and Desserts. 

For Term 3, we would love to see photos of any dishes made from the Family Favourites Cookbook, so please email them through to pfa@scoresbyps.vic.edu.au. We would like to put together a collation of all the photos received and publish them here for the entire school community to admire.

If you don’t already have a copy, the PFA would like to offer families the opportunity to purchase the Family Favourites Cookbook at the reduced price of $15 each or 2 for $25. 

We can’t wait to see everyone’s delicious creations!

Schedule of Events

 Term 3

• Hot Chocolate Fridays: Hot Chocolates will be available to purchase from the canteen every fortnight for the months of July and August. Please refer to the above for exact dates.
• Father’s Day Stall: To be held on Friday 3rd September.
• Father’s Day Raffle: To be drawn at assembly on Friday 3rd September. Some of the exciting donations received so far include a $150 Gift Card from Croydon Cycleworks, a $100 Stud Park Shopping Centre Gift Card, a Zoos Victoria Family Pass, A One with the Lot Gift Hamper and a Tupperware Gift Pack.

Term 4

• Footy Lunch: To be held on Thursday 7th October.
• Color Run: Details about this very exciting event will be released soon.
• Pizza Lunch: To be confirmed.
