Changes to student travel arrangements – Monday 19 July

Metro has made some changes to its school bus timetable as a result of the upcoming public holiday for Tasmanian state schools (K-10) on Monday 19 July.

As senior secondary colleges will be open as normal, there will be arrangements that will apply for St Mary's College students on this day.

Catholic Education Transportation Survey

Students and families are invited to complete a five-minute survey on how they travel to and from school.

The statewide survey is being conducted by the Catholic Education Commission Tasmania as part of a review of bus transportation currently available to students and families attending Catholic schools.

The review will also be looking at the attitudes families and students have towards bus transportation and reasons why they may or may not use bus transportation.

The survey closes Friday 2 July 2021.

NCCD fact sheet

The Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD) takes place in August each year.

The information collected by the NCCD helps teachers, principals, education authorities and governments to better support students with disability at school.
