Student achievements

Congratulations to the following students:

Alex Pritchard, Jack Lawrence, Cooper Nicholson, Lewis Finlay, Archie Argyropoulos, Connor Spencer and Clancy Gillie (Year 2), who competed in the 2021 Devonport Soccer Cup on behalf of Showtime Soccer School. 

The team spent the season at the top of the ladder before playing off in the grand final, where they finished as runners-up by just one goal (1-0). Well done on a great season, boys. You all should be very proud of your efforts. 

Sarah Thomas, Andrea Xavier (Year 7) and Hayley Newsham-West, (Year 6), whose hockey team (U13 South Blue) won gold in the U13 Girls June Long Weekend Junior Intrastate Challenge, held recently in Launceston. 

The junior hockey tournament sees U13, U15 and U18 representative sides from the south, north and north west of Tasmania converge and play in a tournament designed to encourage participation and development of players, coaches, umpires and officials.

Congratulations are in order for Ruby Berry (Year 7) and Jessica Stevens (Year 10) who also played in the June Long Weekend Junior Intrastate Challenge. Fantastic work by all players!
