Around The School

100 Days of Kinder

Today our Kinder students celebrated 100 days of School!

What a wonderful achievement after so many changes and challenges over the last 16 months. We had a wonderful visit from Mrs Brown (Mrs Ripon) and Iris (Jo Morgan) to assist in the day ;)

Mrs Brown even spotted some past students during the parade!

We are so proud of all of the things our Kinders have accomplished, and look forward to seeing where the rest of the school year takes them!

Go Fish!

Our Kinders are always on the go, expanding their minds before the morning bell even goes! Here they have instigated a game of Go Fish, including setting it up all by themselves. Kinders are good at initiating games, sharing, taking turns, complimenting each other. All part of our wonderful Pastoral Care program!

Vote for Brielle!

Year 11 Visual Arts student Brielle Webster took on the challenge of the ZartArt National Art Prize competition published in our newsletter. Help her amazing painting "Home Among The Gum Trees" win the People's Choice prize by voting and sharing at https://zart.us.launchpad6.com/studentartprize/entry/4757

There are only 5 days left to vote - let's support Brielle!

Tour De Kids Cycling Challenge

Once again Moama Anglican Grammar will be participating in a charity bike ride. Last year we topped the fundraising charts in the schools category for the Great Cycle Challenge. We are completing a new challenge this year and it would be great to get some more students involved in the challenge. Staff members Kevin Turner and Darcy Hall are the coordinating staff members, and they hope to get at least 10 students signed up.

This year we are participating in Starlight Foundations 'Tour De Kids' cycling challenge to raise money for sick kids from September 1-30.

How it works:

  1. Sign up, choose your fundraising goal and your distance.
  2. Sign up to our team (Moama Anglican Grammar)
  3. Begin your warm up, practicing your daily goal before it begins
  4. Gather donations to help this amazing cause
  5. You have the month of September to complete your distance goal, using Strava to track your rides.
  6. There are plenty of prizes along the way as you raise money for the Starlight Foundation including Bandana's and Cycling Jerseys.

If any students (or staff) are interested and would like to sign up, or have questions, please contact Mr Hall. For more information online, visit:
