Financial Literacy Course

On Thursday, 15th July, students from Year 12 VCAL participated in Certificate 1 in Financial Literacy training. Our partnership with The Smith Family provides us with the ability to offer students fully subsidised training enabling them to receive a nationally recognised certificate. The course offers students relevant and useful information about how to be financially ‘literate’ in the 21st Century in an environment which is increasingly ‘cashless’ and where the need to know how to save money for a rainy day is becoming increasingly pertinent. The second part of training will occur later in the term and we look forward to hearing from our students about the knowledge gained through their training. Well done to the 16 students from 12V, W and Y who participated and took up this amazing opportunity.
