Digital Art Competition

Earlier this term, the Year 7 students participated in the annual Photoshop/Digital Art Competition in their Digital Technology classes.  The theme for Year 7 was Science Art. Students were required to create a piece of work using original images that represented Science.

This year the students came up with a great variety of topics; including space, scientists, the Northern Lights, exploration, experiments and more. Each class voted on their favourite piece of work that exhibited both the topic of science and technology skills.

The finalists in this year’s Science Art Competition are on display in the Year 7 corridor. Over the next week, teachers and Year 7 students will vote for the year level winners. The winners of this competition will be on display at the Art and Design Exhibition in Term 4. Congratulations to all the girls whose artwork was shortlisted from each class.
