Year 8 Art

The Terracotta Warriors is a fascinating exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV). It combines the work of Contemporary Chinese artist CAI GUO-QIANG with the Terracotta Warriors from ancient China.

Last week, the Year 8 students visited the NGV to experience the exhibition and learn from an educational talk the meanings of the works and how they relate to each other.

Life Drawing

The VCE Art and Studio Art students have started Life Drawing lessons. Life drawing is great for developing and refining students' skills in observation of form. The life model had her 4 month old baby with her, which kept things interesting.

Junior Visual Art and Textiles Classes

The Junior Visual Art and Textiles classes have been continuing with designs and final works that reflect all the new skills they have been learning throughout the semester.

Folio Preparation

The VCE Arts, Media and Textiles students have been working diligently refining their folios and making final preparations for works to be displayed in the 2019 Art and Design Exhibition and Fashion Parade. We looking forward to some exciting works over the next few weeks!
