The first three weeks of term have been a rush of activity as our Year 12s transition into their final semester of formalised schooling and we move the Year 8, 9 and 10 students through the Subject Selection process for 2022.  All have engaged in our online Virtual Subject EXPO, during SEL lessons, gaining specific information around their subjects of interest.  On Friday, Week 3, these students will participate in our EXPO in the library.

Students are currently using WebPreferences to select their subjects for 2022; this site will be closed Monday 16th August and then decisions around classes, staffing and rooms can be made.  It is important that students participate in this subject selection process for 2022. Where possible, we endeavour to cater for the needs of all students however we do have to operate within the constraints of resources. I encourage all students to actively engage in the decision making for their future pathways.

External Assessments (Exams)

Year 12s will sit External Assessments for their General Subjects in Term 4. The dates of the exams are Monday 25th October to Tuesday 16th November (a schedule was emailed out to all students earlier this year). As per last year, we will be holding the assessments at the school in T-Block. This space will provide us with opportunity to run test sessions with approx. 20 students in an air-conditioned space that sits away from the hub of the school.  Further information regarding scheduling, location, equipment, and expectations will be provided closer to the time.
