SPORTS UPDATE 

Decisions have been made to postpone or cancel some School, Diocesan, and NSW sporting events based on the current restrictions around covid and the priority of keeping our students and staff safe.  

Postponed events include:

NSWPSSA and All Schools Cross Country

NSWPSSA Boys Touch Championships

NSWPSSA Boys Football

Cancelled events include:

St Joseph’s School Athletics Carnival 

South Coast Region Athletics 

South Coast Soccer Gala Days 

NSWCCC Football Knockout Finals & Grand Final 

NSWCCC Athletics Championships (Week 8)

CPS Basketball Challenge (Week 4 Term 4)

We share your disappointment in these decisions, however, given the timing of these events and with many of these events listed involving large numbers, multiple schools, large teams, parent/carer drop off and pick up complexities and involvement from both secondary schools and many external officials and providers, it became a sensible decision in the end. 

As a school community, we look forward to our future, with hope, for the time when all students are able to come together and enjoy sport and physical activities together again.

Sports Uniform Days

Students who need to attend school during remote learning may wear their sports uniform every day.

Upon return to normal face-to-face teaching, students are required to wear sports uniform as outlined below.

You will be advised of any changes to these days throughout the term.
