MADDFEST
What a night it was for MADDFEST 2021! The QUAD was lit up with a spectacular display of lights made by our students. The sold out event filled the hall with an awesome crowd of people in the audience which was brightly lit with glowsticks.
The MCs were professional, hosting the show with their flair as their quirky personalities came out naturally. Performers were magnificent, showing their amazing talents with so much confidence!
Towards the end, there was a beautiful farewell to our wonderful Head Teacher of CAPA, Dr. Fienberg. All performers came onto the stage to bid him farewell and all the best with his new role as university lecturer, singing the song 'A Whole New World' from Aladdin.
The Entertainment Team did a marvellous job behind the scenes, recording the event in order to live stream it through Facebook. The livestream was of professional quality and captured the whole event immaculately for those who missed out on securing a ticket!
It was a great night. Congratulations to everyone involved!
Intensive English Program - Oratory Showcase
Evans High School hosted 2021's Intensive English Program’s Oratory Showcase. Sixteen IECs from across NSW came together, with students from each school presenting a speech in English. Students spoke about topics varying from observations on Australian English to their own personal experience and the importance of family.
Fatima and Raghad from Evans IEC represented our school and spoke captivatingly. Congratulations girls!
Our excellent Hospitality team worked meticulously and collaboratively together to cater for over 200 people at the 2021 Oratory Showcase! The presentation and quality of the food was spectacular. Students presented themselves in such a professional manner to cater for the guests at Evans High School!
The Entertainment Team at Evans High school did a marvellous job with sound, lighting and of course the recording of the whole event to live stream it across NSW to Armidale High School and overseas to international students in Vietnam and China! We also had students zoom in across the internet to deliver their speeches. The transition between zoom calls were so smooth all thanks to the professionalism of the Entertainment Team!
