Medieval Day

Year 8 Medieval Day

Following on from our excursion to Kryal Castle earlier in the term where students were given the chance to experience the Medieval world they were about to study, during the last week of Term 2 Year 8 students at both campuses took part in their annual Medieval Day.

Throughout the day students took part in Medieval activities including designing a crest, stained glass windows, model voting, Kahoot quiz, trial by ordeal, jousting and medieval games! 

They also got to reflect and receive feedback from their classmates on their medieval diaries and dress up in medieval costumes. Students won prizes throughout the day for their efforts and participation. 

On behalf of the students, we’d like to thank the Year 8 Investigate team and all staff involved in making this such a wonderful day. The students enjoyed the experience and your fancy medieval dresses and learnt a lot along the way!
