100 Days of Year Seven

Term 3 is a very important time for all students in the Junior School.

The 23rd July marked a significant day in the Junior School calendar, the 100th Day of Secondary School for our Year 7 students. To mark the special occasion the Junior School organised a special certificate to be sent in the mail to each student as well as a yummy cookie waiting for each student to enjoy on their return to onsite learning.

Congratulations Year 7s on your hard work, effort and engagement in your studies this year, especially with a lockdown in both Term 1 and 2. We are exceptionally proud of you and can’t wait to celebrate many more milestones with you in the years to come at Greensborough College.

The Year 8 and 9 students have began the process of choosing their indicative subjects for the 2022 school year. This is a very exciting time for Year 8s with selecting their first year of electives, and for Year 9s with their upcoming move into the Senior School. Please remember, all indicative subject selections are due by 10pm on Tuesday 10th Aug. If you require assistance with your subject selections please contact Miss Triance or Mr Ravenhall for Year 8 into Year 9, and Mr Ellul or Ms Campbell for Year 9 into Year 10.

With the announcement of another snap lockdown we understand you might feeling upset or a little down being back in lockdown with another round of remote learning. We are here to support your during this challenging time, if you are experiencing any wellbeing issues, technology issues or would just like to have a chat please contact your Year Level Leader so that we can assist you during this challenging time. It is a difficult time for all, but I would like to acknowledge the commitment, resilience and maturity the junior students of Greensborough College have and continue to show towards their studies.

Stay safe and we are all looking forward to seeing you back at school.

Miss Triance
