Principal's News

Returning To School

In the first stage, students in Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 will return to school from Tuesday 26 May.

To support all school staff to prepare for this transition, Monday 25 May will be a pupil-free day.  We will not be providing online learning or on-site supervision on the 25th May.

In the second stage of our return to on-site schooling, all other year levels (Years 3 to 6) will return to school from Tuesday 9 June.

We will be sending a COMPASS notification home today, with the details of how our transition will look.  It will cover the following:

  • Helping your child prepare to return to school
  • Dropping children off to school and picking them up at the end of the day
  • Returning borrowed devices
  • New cleaning arrangements
  • Hygiene support at school
  • Management of unwell children

The transition back to school is a complex process and we urge all parents to read the document that will be sent home carefully and support us by following the instructions.  We understand that the process will be inconvenient for some families and apologise for this in advance.

If parents require care for their children before 8.45am or after 3.30pm, please contact Camp Australia to arrange care.  Child Care is free until the end of this term.

Parents are also reminded that children must not arrive at school before 8.45am and must not stay at school after 3.30pm.  If students are here outside these times they will be placed in OSHC.
