 Staff Online Trivia Event

Last Friday saw the world premiere of the first 'RSC Online Trivia Event', where 11 staff teams went  head to head for the glory of being the inaugural winner. Three of P.E's most wisdomess staff and now self proclaimed Trivia Extrordanaires hosted, live from Vlahos Manor.

The rounds consisted of obscure questions, such as listing the prices of household items from Coles or Fun Facts about 1st year staff at Ringwood, making it impossible for certain faculties to cheat! (cough cough – Maths)

Of course, no trivia event at RSC is complete without the inclusion of marquee trivia master Mr. Jamieson, who joined in on the action all the way live from Queensland. Jamo as he is formally known brought much joy and humour to the event as he delivered a COVID-19 inspired geography round. Testing the capacity of the only global affair currently being reported on (in case you missed the news).

Mr. Morley lead the charge in this round with his poem to the world:

When I die

My atoms will come undone;

I'll be space dust, once again.

The wind will carry me;

Scatter me everywhere;

Like dandelions in the springtime

I'll visit worlds and alien moons;

It will be so damn poetic -

Until I land on your sandwich.

Coming in a close second in the poem contest were ‘Barnsey’s Babes’ as they hailed Michael the King of Covid

The scores were close, with 5 teams scoring 63 points but the overall winner came from ‘Thanks Michael’, with a score of 64 after Mr. O'Malley stepped up to the plate to claim the winning bonus point in the decisive joke round.

Congratulations to them, who were conveniently made.

Thank you to all who participated from the warmth of their home. We look forward to the day we can all trivia from the same room once again.
