Branch Out Sister School Exchange Program

I have just received this good news from our sister school and I would like to share it with you.

Ryuken (one of our sister school students) has been chosen to be a school captain!  All the teachers were surprised to see the change that Ryuken suddenly showed interest in the leadership role. He is a lovely boy but he took a class representative role only once in his last five school years.

The teachers have recognised that Ryuken must have been influenced by Hudson, whose family hosted Ryuken last year when they came to visit us in Australia. Hudson was our school captain then. Now the teachers hope Ryuken will be a fantastic school captain like Hudson was.

I was so happy to hear the news. It reminds me of the episode about Hudson in our school Japan trip. Hudson had to go to see a doctor in Tokyo. It was after we stayed at our sister school. We talked with his parent over the phone first, then Hudson took his turn to talk next. “Can we please host Ryuken when he comes to Melbourne, please!” That was the first thing he said to his parents!
