Environmental Group Update

Marist Goes Green

Friday 12 June was MCA’s first Go Green Day to raise awareness for World Environment Day.  Boys and staff were encouraged to wear green and consider the waste they produce by bringing a litter-free lunch.  The Environment Group ran a competition in the Primary School for the class with the least amount of litter in their lunchboxes.  With much fierce competition, the winner’s prize of a pizza party will be shared between 5 White and 6 White who both have zero waste. Impressive!

A huge thank you must go to Mr Johns, Tom Weaver and Finn Eldridge for providing the tunes at break time and an even bigger thank you to the boys of the Environment Executive for working through the week to organise the event.

With holidays fast approaching, how will you spend it caring for nature?
