Lana’s Bake Sale for Syria

In Week 5, Lana Kugic took on a community service task to raise funds for the war and earthquake in Syria. She was very proactive in organising posters, meeting with her McKay teachers, and communicating with her peers to highlight this worthwhile cause. Due to the outstanding contributions of our College staff and students the donated cakes, slices and treats were so numerous we had to hold the bake sale over 2 days. Lana had the support of a number of friends during this event. 

She was able to raise $500 for this very worthwhile cause. Congratulations and very well done, Lana.
