The JMSS Music Program 

The JMSS Music Program has made a flying start to the year. So good that all of our lessons are currently booked to capacity! 

Our ensembles have also started the year strongly with some fantastic small soiree events, including a Vocal/Choir Soiree on Thursday the 16th of March, and a Piano Soiree the following week on Thursday the 23rd. 

This year also marked the return of live assembly performances, with the Pep Band kicking off the year with some Uptown Funk, and the Stage Band at the International Women's Day assembly performing Salina, a song that they plan to take to the Generations in Jazz competition in Mount Gambier next term. 

Other events to look forward to in music are the "Fire and Rain" concert at Hamer Hall, involving many JMSS music students, and Music Camp, which runs from the 11th to 13th of May down on the peninsula.
