This Sunday's readings are surprising - the unexpected child becomes a leader, we feel safe and trek through the darkest valley. They speak of light and darkness, and sight and blindness.
The readings challenge us to walk in the light and to experience God in unexpected places, including in our own daily lives. God is with us in threatening times and God’s circle of love surrounds us. In living light-filled lives, we can tap into resources beyond our imagination for the good of ourselves and the world. We can do ordinary things with great love and claim our vocation as God’s companions in healing the Earth.
The College is running a short project to gather information about how our community understands and lives our Core Values of Compassion, Courage and Respect. Linked HERE is a very short survey (three minutes at most) that will help gather an insight into the perspective of parents/caregivers.
