YEAR 7 CAMP

As part of Heart Week, the Year 7s spent one night and two days on camp at Fairbridge Village in Pinjarra. This location had the Alpha and Omega (beginning and end) theme of Year 12 Graduation on full display as one of our Year 12 Retreats was happening on the other side of the venue.

I sat down with some Year 7s to learn about their favourite memory/activity from Camp.

  • "The big swing because it was just a lot of action!" - Lydia Si (Hannan) and Amber Wu (Carden)
  • "We both really enjoyed abseiling and rock climbing because it was scary at first but really fun when you pushed yourself." - Thomas Harris and Adam Pakay (Kimberley)
  • "The high ropes course as it was fun and you don't get to do it everyday" - Addison Lupo (Normandy)
  • "I found abseiling and rock climbing really fun to do and watch" - Charlotte McAdam (Thu Duc)
  • "I loved the big swing because it was fun to do and exciting to watch, especially when people dropped the teddy bear" - Sofia Vellutini (Trinity)
  • "My favourite memory was when the girls in the dorm and I wore face masks at night - we looked like Squidward and even the teacher joined in!" - Jasmin Doherty (Trinity)
  • "I thought it was nice to meet people and try new things together. I also loved Mr Martino's rapping!" - Elle Macdonald (Thu Duc)
