LIBRARY NEWS

Author in Residence

It is very exciting that we have an Author in Residence coming in week 2 next term. Dr Cameron Stelzer is a well renowned self-publishing author and illustrator. He has been a full time author since 2004 and has been visiting schools to share his insights about writing and illustrating for well over 10 years. This is his first visit to northwest NSW and he is very happy to be coming to St Ed's.

Every grade will get an opportunity to have a visit from Cameron, and selected students will get to participate in extension writing and illustrating. This is a very exciting opportunity for our school, so for further information please see Cameron's site.

Inspired Learners

Inspired Learners will start a little later this year after the NAPLAN assessments have been completed. This is a program for our selected top readers to expand their reading, writing and research opportunities. Stay tuned!
