Awards for Kildare College

We are thrilled to announce that Kildare College has won the 2023 Innovative Program category of the Catholic Education of South Australia (CESA) Awards, recognising their progressive Graduate Teacher Program. This was announced at the Catholic Education Awards ceremony, held at the Hilton Hotel, Adelaide.

Kildare's Graduate Teacher Program is a contemporary and research-based initiative that employs innovative methods to support the transition of Early Career Teachers into competent, capable, and dynamic professionals.

The establishment of Kildare's Graduate Teacher Program was born out of a deep-rooted commitment to our students and their future.  In delivering the program, the Future Innovation Coaches, Julia Taylor, Nick Kellett- Southby, Rebecca Sarvas and Raymond Kropniski, Director of Teacher and Learning, worked closely with the 15 Early Career Teachers to deliver a comprehensive program encompassing mentoring, professional development, and ongoing support.

This award serves as a testament to the collective efforts of the entire Kildare College community - the teachers, staff, families and, above all, the students.

Tullow Centre innovation recognised on a National Scale

In more good news for the College, the Tullow Centre at Kildare College has been shortlisted as an Excellence Awardee in the category of Innovation in Learning Environment Design in the Australian Education Awards 2023. One of only 8 finalists, the only South Australian and Catholic School to be shortlisted, Kildare College's $6.4m Tullow Centre is a flagship project that sets new standards for all-girls' education.

Tina Neate, Principal, says “the centre is not only an outstanding architectural and engineering feat, but it also serves as a powerful educational tool for Kildare College. The Tullow Centre has revolutionised how Kildare College delivers education, and its positive impact will be felt for future years.”

Well done to all involved and we wish you the very best of luck at the awards ceremony in Sydney in August.
