Been part of the awesome ASPS community since 2022 and have my son Ben (1B) absolutely thriving at the school. I joined the Council because I wanted to understand how to better support Ben's journey to make it even more enjoyable for both of us. Always happy to chat @ 0422 848 358.

Michael Wainwright

Assistant Principal

I have been a member of the Auburn South team since 2011 beginning my time here as a Performing Arts teacher before transitioning to my current role as Assistant Principal. I thoroughly enjoy working with school council; particularly the school improvement committee on ideas and projects focussed on developing our school grounds and infrastructure. I am appreciative of the opportunity to work with a diverse group of motivated people who are passionate about the growth and well-being of our students.

Working with the Auburn South community for the last 6 years, I am really looking forward to working with School Council to make sure our children have the most positive experience at school. In my dual role as Prep B classroom teacher and Learning Specialist focussing on Literacy, I am so proud of our school and am incredilby lucky to work with all teams from Prep to Year 6 to build our capacity and understanding of the Science of Reading. At home we have just welcomed Lulu, a little Golden Retirever puppy who is a little bundle of energy and loves to roll in the mud!!

Staff Council Member

I'm looking forward to collaborating and working with the School Council this year. I've been a part of ASPS since 2020, and have stood firm in the Year 6 team. As well as being a classroom teacher, I am a part of the school’s wellbeing teams - Visible Wellbeing and Respectful Relationships. Outside of education, I have a background in politics & international relations, so I’m absolutely in love with the PYP - promoting international mindedness in young people!
