Parenting Presentations

ParentZone Eastern are offering Talking Teens, Parenting Anxious Children and Dads Matter parenting programs this term. Both groups are free to attend for parents living in Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs.  

Details of the groups are as follows:

Talking Teens

Dates: Mondays (6 evening sessions)

July 17th to August 21st 2023

Time: 7:00 to 9:00 pm

Where: Online via Zoom.

Parenting Anxious Children

Dates: Monday 1st August to Monday 5th September 2023 (6 daytime sessions)

Time: 1:00 to 2:30 pm

Dads Matter

Dates: Monday 31 July - 4 September 2023 (6 evening sessions)

Time: 7.00pm to 9.00pm

MiniRoos Kick-Off for Girls:

6 weeks -  Wednesday August 2nd to September 6th

$60 – includes a new participant pack of a MiniRoos playing shirt and ball

Boroondara Youth Hub

The Boroondara Youth Hub is our very own centre specifically designed for young people aged 10 to 25 who live, work, study or play in Boroondara. The Youth Hub, located at Level 1, 360 Burwood Road, Hawthorn, is open 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday during school terms, and 10:00 am to 6:00 pm weekdays during school holidays. The centre is closed on public holidays.

 

The Hub offers a safe space for young people where they are welcome to come hang out, catch up on study, get some support from a qualified youth worker, or simply use the Hub which includes Nintendo Switch, Studio space, arts and curation, table tennis, pool table, meet our resident blue-tongue lizard Risky and more!

 

Boroondara Youth also delivers life skills and youth leadership programs, activities, support services and school holiday activities at the Youth Hub.
