Holidays

As we prepare for our mid-year holidays, I send my prayers to all of our families and the wider school community. I hope that this time can be a time of peace, love, rest and relaxation before we begin the busy second half of the year.

Faith and Learning Walks

Term 3

In Term 3 we will be conducting Faith and Learning walks as part of our weekly Parish Mass visits.

As Fr Dan is attending World Youth Day in Portugal early in Term 3,  Mrs Woodhouse and Mrs Moss will conduct either a short liturgy or SPaR session with the grade rostered on. Families are invited to join. This will replace Parish Mass attendance for our students and families, while Fr Dan is away.

After the Liturgy or SPaR session, you are invited to your child's classroom to see some of their wonderful work. You are then welcome to have an early morning tea in the playground with your child and their class.

From Week 6, when Fr Dan returns, we will resume our Parish Mass attendance and then engage in a classroom learning walk before having a morning tea picnic with your child and their class.

Both liturgies/SPaR sessions and Parish Masses will begin at 9am.

I have also added some important dates to the liturgical calendar, please add these dates to your diary and if they change for any reason you will be notified via Compass.

Fundraising

For the next few weeks, Charli and Audrey from Year 6 will be selling Zooper Dooper ice-blocks on the playground at both Lunch 1 and Lunch 2 for $1 each.

They are raising funds to help them travel to Darwin and Tasmania to represent Sydney in Touch Football and Hockey. We thank our families for their support so far in the fundraising efforts.

Congratulations girls, we ae so proud of your achievements and we cannot wait to hear how well you excel!

In Christ,

Mrs Nicole Moss
