Focus on Learning 

In Kindergarten we have been using the sounds that we have learned in InitiaLit to decode and blend simple words. We can use our finger to help track our reading and a whisper phone to hear the sounds.  We like to predict and then discuss what happens in the beginning, middle and end of each book. We are learning to make connections from what we have read in the book, to our own experiences.
