YEAR 8 TENNIS - NMR FINALS

Congratulations to the Year 8 Girls and Boys tennis teams that recently competed in the North Metro Region finals at the Boroondara Tennis Centre.

The event was a high quality standard of tennis with all of our players performing exceptionally well. Against tough opposition, both our teams won a round each before losing the final round of the pool matches. Well done to all 8 players that represented Thornbury High School on the day!

TERM 2 - YEAR 11/12 SPORT

It has been a very busy start to Term 2 sport for the Year 11/12 students, with Badminton, Basketball, Netball, Table Tennis, Soccer, Football and Futsal event days all within the first 4 weeks of term.

There was strong student participation for each sport and plenty of enjoyment at the events. Congratulations to the students on the way they applied themselves to training leading into the events and the teamwork displayed at each sport.
