Garden Club Continues!

We can't wait to get out of lockdown 4.0 and back into the garden!

 

Grade Prep is up for Week 9.

 

We look forward to our Preps entering our Level 1 Garden at Wednesday lunchtime in Week 9.

 

Garden Club won't be happening Week 10. 

Garden Club Writing Competition

Thank you to those students who have sent through their writing entries! It is great to see the passion our students have for gardening.

 

If you still want to be considered as part of our offical Garden Club for the rest of 2021 make sure you get your writing entry in by Friday 18th June.

Are you a keen gardener?

If you are a keen gardener and want to commit to making our Level 1 Garden great again, sign up officially to Garden Club!

 

Criteria:

  • Any Grade P-6 can enter
  • Attend Garden Club - Wednesday's at lunchtime
  • Write a response to the questions below
  • Write on paper or type your answers
  • Send a photo of your writing to your teacher
  • DUE 18th JUNE (WEEK 9)

Questions:

Are you a keen gardener?
  • Why do we garden?
  • Why do you like to garden?
  • How does gardening help the environment?
  • What will you do to make sure you commit to this club?

Bunnings fundraiser BBQ

SMPS will be hosting a Bunnings fundraiser BBQ, at their Port Melbourne store, in Term 3.

Saturday 21st August 2021. 

We'll need some volunteers to host the BBQ, so please keep an eye out for more details in future newsletters.

All money raised will go towards the makeover of the garden on Level 1. 

Donations for Garden Club

We are currently in the process of fundraising money to put toward our Garden club. Currently we are working with what we have which is limited resources. We kindly ask for any donations big or small that can make our Garden Club thrive in the meantime.

Oral Health: Used products - bring to school to recycle

We can earn fundraising points towards gaining Garden Club items for every used oral health product recycled. See below what can be recycled. There will be a box at the office to place these items.
