Student 'Get Active' Vouchers

The Get Active Kids Voucher Program helps eligible families get their kids involved in organised sport and recreation activities by reimbursing the cost of membership and registration fees, uniforms and equipment. Eligible children may be able to receive up to $200 each. Children must be aged 4 to 18 and named on a valid Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card and Medicare card to be eligible. Find out if you can apply, what costs are covered and how much can be reimbursed.

Parent-Teacher-Student Interviews

We have 53% of families already booked into Parent-Teacher-Student Interviews. What a great start! To book a suitable timeslot, open Compass in your internet browser. Compass will prompt you through the booking process. If you have any questions, or require assistance please don't hesitate to contact our school office on 9935 9399. Bookings close on Tuesday 22nd June at 9.00am.

If you require the assistance of an interpreter, please select from the language service available when making your booking. The school will then arrange interpreters. As this process requires external services, bookings requiring an interpreter must be made by 9.00am on Tuesday 15th June. Bookings made after this date will not be able to use the services of an interpreter.

A reminder that normal classes will not run on this day. Students will be required to attend for a portion of their interview time only. Please begin making alternate arrangements for this day.  OSHClub will be running all day from 7:00am-6:00pm for families wanting to book in. Bookings will be made available closer to the date via the usual online OSHClub web site: https://www.oshclub.com.au/

Have You Borrowed a Device?

If your family borrowed a device for remote learning, please ensure that this is returned to the school office ASAP. These devices are used in classes by a range of students, especially in Prep and STEAM. We need them back to continue delivering our high-quality learning experiences.

Open Day for Prospective Families - Postponed 

We have decided to postpone our Open Day scheduled and it will now occur on Wednesday July 21st. Families looking to enrol their child/ren for Prep 2022, please head to our website (https://southmelbourneps.vic.edu.au/) to register for the new date for Open Day and to download the enrolment form. Please spread the word!

Note this is NOT for our current families unless they have a child starting in 2022.

Celebration of Learning Day

We encourage all current families to join us on the new date of Friday July 23rd from 9:00am to 10:30am as we celebrate our students' learning and achievements. We will be opening up the learning spaces and giving our parents an opportunity to walk around the school and see your child/ren's learning spaces. A lot of our families have never seen the inside of our school and we cannot wait to welcome you.
