This iNewsletter contains important dates and times for all of you. Please read carefully.

I want to start off with a link to a Gratitude Wall that our staff wrote last week. It is addressed to all families and students. It contains comments from our team in relation to the wonderful support and goodwill we received from all of you. Please take the time to read it. We appreciate you.

I usually have a Learning Page where you can read about our approaches to education at SMPS. This week, I have replaced it with a COVID-safe page so you can read about our expectations of you during this more intense period of COVID in Melbourne. Please read it carefully so you can do your bit in keeping us safe.

Lockdown 4.0

We managed to have 93% of our students attend all Remote Learning lessons which is an incredible achievement by your children and family. Well done. Fingers crossed we don't have a Lockdown 5.0. If we do, then we will be ready with a solid game plan.

Important Dates - Book OSHClub if needed

It is very important to note the following dates as it involves your support:

• Thursday, June 24: Parent-Teacher-Child Interviews via Webex
  • You have to book in via Compass
  • There are no classes on that day so your child either stays home with you or you book into OSHClub
• Friday, June 25: Last Day of School (2:30pm dismissal)
  • This is an early finish so arrange to pick up your child at 2:30pm
  • If you can't manage to get there by 2:30pm, then book into OSHClub as staff will have a meeting when students are dismissed and there will not be supervision provided
• Monday, July 12: Curriculum Day (student free)
  • No classes run as we take our last Student Free Curriculum Day for the year on the first Monday back after the holidays
