Class Page- 12W
All the students in 1/2W have settled into Term 2 quickly and have been producing some fantastic work. We have been focusing on using appropriate punctuation in our writing and have commenced our Sounds Right Spelling program, which the kids love. In Theme, we have been comparing toys from the olden days (pre-2010 is considered olden days in the kid's eyes) to the toys being created now. We are in the process of designing our very own Bottle Rockets and with the Kinder kids help, will paint and launch them in the following weeks.
When asked about their favourite activities or pieces of work they have completed so far, they responded with the following comments:
Dylan – I really enjoyed the football clinic and doing shaving cream spelling
Belly – I have enjoyed playing with my friends and learning new things
Maddi B – I have enjoyed singing my songs with my friends for my class
Ryan – I loved designing the bottle rockets and can’t wait to launch them
Harmony – I have really enjoyed playing with my friends and trying to write a page
Annie – I have enjoyed writing and trying to get a whole page
Zoey – I have enjoyed doing Science with Mr Lelliott
Madi G – Practising my drawing and spelling on the whiteboards
Isabella – I have enjoyed writing in class and playing with my friends at playtime
Jason – I have enjoyed doing the maths groups and working Mrs Tilley 1 and 2
Brody – I like playing sport with my class
Alexis – I like doing maths and spelling when I can write on the whiteboard
Ajay – Playing with my friends at recess and lunchtime
Tiana – I have really enjoyed spelling on the whiteboards
Lexie – I love playing on the monkey bars with my friends at snack time
India – I have enjoyed coming to school learning and playing with my friends
Liv – My favourite part of the year has been playing on the i-Pads
Alannah – I have loved doing everything with my friends and Mr Wright
Blake – I have really loved playing sport with Mr Wright and Miss Naish’s class
Justice – I have enjoyed learning how to read and write
