Deputy Principal's Report -

   Years 8, 10 & 12

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!

Thank you to all students and parents for your ongoing commitment and support. Moving the school community back into routine after last year has brought it’s challenges, however having our wonderful school community and able to be back on site has been a highlight this term.

ATTENDANCE

Thank you to all parents for supporting the attendance of our students, especially after the return to school from remote learning last year. As per the NSW DoE policy for school attendance we are required to remind parents of the following:

4.1.2

Parents are required to explain the absences of their children from school promptly and within 7 days to the school. An explanation for absence must be provided to the school within 7 days of the first day of any period of absence.

Please ensure you make contact by either a note to the school or a phone call explaining your child’s absence. Mrs Gillard is our attendance officer and she makes regular contact with students and parents on the progress of student attendance.

UNIFORM UPDATE

Thank you to all parents for your ongoing support and patience as we work through the uniform shortage of track pants this term. For the interim, the school is giving permission for students to wear PLAIN BLACK track pants with the junior uniform. Track pants with writing and motifs are not to be worn.

Our Facebook page will provide updates as supplies become available.
