Deputy Principal's Report -

   Years 7, 9 & 11

As the end of Semester One draws near, all students are busy completing assessments and class tasks ready for their end of Semester reports. Reports have been uploaded to the portal on Wednesday 23 June, the last week of Term. The Stage 4 reports contain three new areas: Aboriginal Studies, Applied Learning and Wellbeing. Reading these reports was very interesting to see the diversity of our Stage 4 curriculum, in particular our students have written their own Student Learning Reflections which indicate a real engagement with this new course.

Our new report also represents the changing climate of 21st century thinking, with students and teachers focusing on skills progressions including collaboration, communication, creativity and critical thinking.

Stage 6 students, parents and caregivers have already had access to their reports and our Parent Teacher night was well attended, any parents or caregivers who would like any further information regards the progress of students in their care can send an email to the school’s account or contact the individual teacher’s directly for feedback.
