WHAT IF WE DIDN'T HAVE MATH - Episode Two "TIME"

ASSESSMENT TIME

Our students have been busily working through content this term and completing high quality assessment tasks. We have had a focus on making connections with real-world problems and our students seem to be enjoying this.

NUMERACY PROGRAM

Our small group Numeracy withdrawal program has shifted to Year 7 and Year 8 students. Many students have been working with Mr Rogers and Mr Hoole. This program is targeted to specific student needs and again focuses on real-world applications of mathematical concepts. This program has been well received by students who are enjoying a different style of learning Maths.

DECISION TIME

Year 10 are currently making decisions regarding their courses for next year. It was pleasing to see so many students and parents at our subject selection nights and asking great questions about Stage 6 options. For those students still unsure of which course to pick, please consult your Maths teacher so that you can make an informed decision.

TRIAL HSC

Senior students should be currently preparing for end of course exams. For Year 12, it is not long until the Trial HSC Exams where all content will be assessed. For Year 11, End of Course Exams will occur at the end of Term 3 where all Year 11 content will be assessed. 

Organised study programs are the best way to maximise marks for these tasks. Also remember that your teachers are here to help, so please bring us any questions that you are having trouble with.
