Art News

One of the best things about Art, is that it can be created anywhere and with everyday resources! Art covers so many different areas from drawing, to photography, to collage to construction, options and opportunities for art is everywhere!

Lockdown can leave us all feeling so many different emotions and it is so important, that we take time each day, to do something to lift our spirits and help us smile! Hopefully, you are all remembering to include Art in your, “Lockdown Survival Toolbox” and are enjoying taking some time out to complete your Art learning tasks, and perhaps even creating some artwork of your own. You do not have to finish your artwork in one sitting; you can come and go, adding to it, as you please.

With the upcoming arrival of Spring, we will hopefully see the weather begins to change. These changes make for some amazing photography opportunities. Perhaps, you could use a device from home and begin a daily photography journal? Have a play around with angles and zooming, to create really interesting photos. Our very own Mrs Read is a talented photographer, capturing everyday life in many different and interesting ways; next time you see Mrs Read, perhaps, you could ask her for some tips!

Take care everyone. We continue to be incredibly proud of you all, and the persistence and resilience you are demonstrating.
