Room 12

There has been so much learning happening in room 12 this year. Here are a few examples. We have been learning about Transport and Road Safety so we went on an excursion to the Road safety Centre with rooms 6 and 16. We travelled there and back by bus. The Police officers taught us about road safety and we practised crossing the road at pedestrian crossings on the mock roadways. Then we put on helmets and practised riding bikes safely. It was so much fun. After we had finished at the Road Safety centre we walked down to the playground in Bonython park. On the way we saw some beautiful police horses. At the park we ate lunch and played on the adventure playground until the bus arrived to take us back to school. It was a really great day out.

When our class hosted Assembly we did a vibrant Indian Dance.

We made The Rainbow snake with our Buddy class when studying Aboriginal culture.

We also did probability and statistics in Maths and collected data about traffic on Muller Road. We made a picture graph to display our data .

In book week we dressed up and we also drew creative pictures of the book ‘There’s No Such Thing’ and Ms Sue made a display in the Library.

This term we have been doing dance on Fridays with room 2.
